Macro Water Photography > The World Within A Drop Of Water
by Jacquie Gregerson
|
The world that appears to exist, within a macro image of a drop of water, has always fascinated me. The interiors of some of the droplets take on the shapes and images from the reflections of what surrounds them. The result is the appearance of images, within the water droplet, that seemingly have always been there. Some, that have viewed my macro water images, have inquired if I have used a software program in order to place an object or scene inside of the droplet. I have not. The only image adjustments that I make to my macro water drop photography is, if need be, in the correction of exposure, contrast, hue and possibly the removal of a speck of dust or other distraction. The images that appear within the water droplets are often unseen within a normal viewing distance and are lost in the mere glance of the eye.
